As one master I studied with always said, “Emotions are wonderful guides but terrible masters.”
While emotions are important to lead us to take action in different situations when they run unchecked they end up causing us to make decisions that are not necessarily the best for us.
We have it within our command to let the energies of emotions flow in a healthy way to make the right decisions for ourselves whatever those may be.
