The Most Overlooked Key to Your Health

We’ve been exploring the ways stuck energy shows up – in the physical body, the emotional body, and the mental body. Each affects the others.

But here’s something most people overlook…

We often know what to do for our physical body: take a walk in the park, lift weights at the gym, or swim a few laps at the pool.

For our emotional body, we might sit in a session with a therapist, bring a pen to paper to  journal, or talk things out with a friend.

And for our mental body, we sign up for the latest trendy coaching package or seek meditative practices targeting mindfulness and mindset.

And yet...
The most important – and most neglected – piece of our well-being is the energy body.

Every single one of our bodies has an energetic aspect to it. The health of the physical, emotional, and mental are all greatly influenced by the state of the energetic body. And vice versa.

Think of it like this: our energy body is the invisible thread that ties everything together.

When energy flows like a river, we feel nourished and alive.

When it’s blocked, like a dam in that river, everything else feels the pressure of the build up on one side – physical tension, emotional heaviness, and mental fog.

Most people don’t even think to care for their energy body. But it’s often the very place where lasting change begins.

Let me tell you about Nancy (name changed), a friend and former client who is a psychiatrist that runs her own clinic.

She was struggling with frequent headaches and migraines – especially on Mondays. Her default was to put her head down, work harder, and collapse into bed instead of heading out to her dance class.

She even began to think the headaches were a sign that she needed to close her clinic and give up her work.

But when we explored together, what surfaced wasn’t a career crisis – it was stuck energy.

Through relevant breaths and gentle movements, she learned how to open those energetic blockages and allow flow to return.

“I realised I could start taking steps to wind down. I felt empowered to do it.”

Now, Nancy lives a healthier rhythm: more time hitting balls on the tennis court, swimming laps at the pool, and showing up for dance classes and date nights with her husband.

When your energy is stuck, life can feel like pushing through mud. But when it flows, everything – body, mind, and spirit – feels lighter.

When we nurture the energy body, all of our bodies benefit. Flow returns, clarity opens, and life feels easier.

Nurture it, and every part of you thrives. Neglect it, and the best efforts we make for our physical, emotional, or mental well-being can only go so far.

Soon, I’ll share how the wisdom of ancient practices can become part of your everyday life – and how you can explore them in a supportive community with others who share the same curiosity and longing for vitality and ease as you do.

But before that, we’ll explore the spiritual body – the essence that weaves through it all.
